Subhankar Chatterjee

Vocalist from Kolkatta. Styles: Khyal and light songs.. In western terms he is a powerful bass barytone. Although his main expression is Hindustani classical, He has impressiverepertoire ranging from khyal to light music, through dhrupad, thumri and other styles. He is also very versatile and plays variuous modern styles with musicians from other horizons such as jazz.

Subhankar teaches in Sangit Academy in Brussels.

Has already collaborated with Sandip Banerjee and Daniel Schell.
